What: Advertising (print)

Function: It advertises "The Barista League" with a sense of humor.

Where: In a magazine (barista magazine)

Quality: The type is very legible and even fun to read with the handwritten font. The black and white color scheme as well as the style of the illustration make it look vintage and old-fashioned. At the same time, the simplicity and clarity appeal to the contemporary age.

Style: Psychedelic- I was remind of the "comix" of the Psychedelic art in the 60's. The character's big smile with wide open eyes with an awkward face tilt can be a bit disturbing to look at, just as Psychedelic "comix" looked like.

What attracted me: I was drawn to the illustration as it reminded me of the comic books we saw in class. Also, the high contrast of colors and forms stood out from the page in the magazine.
